A dental discount plan provides members significant out-of-pocket savings on most dental procedures. With Patient Direct, you have no maximums, no waiting periods, no annual deductible, and no claims to file. Payment is from the patient directly to the provider. Patient Direct is not an insurance plan.
A dental discount plan is a membership based service with a small monthly fee that provides members discounted pricing on dental procedures at participating providers with no limit on usage. Insurance is traditionally a high monthly fee with an annual usage limit where at least part of the cost of many services is covered by the insurance company.

If you visit a provider that is not listed in our network, you will not receive any discounts through Delta Dental Patient Direct.
Delta Dental Patient Direct offers discounts on most procedures. We pride ourselves in pricing transparency. Review the fee schedule to find what you expect to pay during your visit. If you don’t see your procedure in the list, it may be eligible for a 20% discount. Check with your provider prior to the procedure. In order to access the fee schedule, you must visit your selected primary general dentist office.
You cannot use the membership to receive discounts on procedures paid through insurance. You may be able to use your membership in addition to insurance after your insurance maximum has been reached. This is up to your provider. Your provider must be in our network. Many providers will work with you to figure out how your insurance and Delta Dental Patient Direct can save your the most money.
Yes. As long as the provider is within our network, you can use your membership along with Medicare Part B. It may not work with Medicare Advantage with dental benefits. Check with your provider.
We offer monthly and annual memberships starting at just $11.75 per month (with a $20 enrollment fee). Feel free to cancel your membership at any time. Want to give it a try? We provide a 30 day refund policy, no questions asked.
We are completely paperless and only offer payment by credit or debit card.

If you aren’t completely satisfied within your first 30 days of membership, you’re entitled to a refund of your membership dues. Contact customer service at (888) 840-4077 to begin the process. Note: Enrollment fees are non refundable.
Yes! If you are an employer or an association that would like to offer Delta Dental Patient Direct to your employees or members, please reach out to our Sales team at [email protected]. We offer our plan in traditional benefit format, which can also be offered as a dual option alongside traditional insured benefits. Additionally, Patient Direct can be offered for groups to provide the plan to employees to sign up individually without any group administration.
